Bachanal Mas was realised out of a group of peoples love for Carnival, Mas and Soca. Our main aim is to take carnival and carnival arts from its Caribbean roots and bring it to the streets of London and beyond. We develop themes aimed at a varied audience and work with our teams in providing the highest quality all inclusive costume band for Notting Hill Carnival, other events and festivals.

Paul O’Donoghue - Artistic Director/Head Designer
Paul has over 11 years experience in the Mas business and has won endless prizes for his designs. He started off his Mas career with Flamboayn Mas where he designed for 2 years and then went on to Masquerade 2000 where he designed for 9 years. Paul’s main objective as lead designer is to develop fresh themes and designs for the current year and ensure quality, fit and timely delivery of the costumes as well as the smooth running of the production. Paul has really set the benchmark in UK Mas providing Mas players with high quality costumes.
Richard Gallimore - Band Leader/Events
Richard Has been involved in Mas for nearly 10 years and has assisted Paul by managing his productions for the last 3 years. He has ensured timely delivery of costumes as well as the smooth running of the organisation. Richard also has vast financial experience and is also the Treasurer of G.L.I.M.A (Greater London International Mas Association).
Kelly Rajpaulsingh - Brand Manager/Sponsorship and Promotions,
Kelly has been working and supporting the Notting Hill Carnival in various capacities for over 10 years and was responsible for the organisation and daily running of the Bacchanalia Mas Band. Her specialities both professionally and with the band is mainly geared towards advertising and promotions - skills that she has been putting to use with Bachanal Mas very successfully via various mediums.
Andrew Rajpaulsingh - Sound Engineer and Infrastructure Manager
Andrew has been involved in Notting Hill Carnival for over 18 years via his interest in music and dj-ing and now produces one of the top sound systems for the event. He was also the main partner in Bacchanalia Mas Band and now works with Bachanal Mas providing the float, sound system and engineering the sound production at all events. Andrew is also a recognised veteran throughout the carnival arena and is a member of CMA (Caribbean Music association) and G.L.I.M.A.

There is also a core team in place that works closely with the Management Team to ensure that the highest possible standards are produced and upheld. From design assistants to models, sewers, cutters, photographers and contributors to the general welfare and success of the band, Bachanal Mas is now solidly set to challenge itself and its members in taking Carnival culture to new heights.
